Post Care
24 hours post treatment avoid hot water such as hot tubs, saunas, hot showers (if you need to shower use warm water), unnecessary sun exposure.
It is to be expected that the skin will be red and feel irritated, similar to windburn, for anywhere from one to several days after the treatment depending on individuals skin sensitivity.
Some acne spots may come to the surface as the pores are opened up from exfoliation.
In the 2-5 day post treatment the skin may slough or flake, proceed to hydrated the skin as needed.
No picking, scratching or pulling at the skin during healing as it may lead to hyperpigmentation
Mineral makeup can be used but it is best to wait 24-48 hours before using.
Hyperpigmentation may become darker before lightening as the pigment becomes closer to the surface.
Skin may feel itchy and tight so maintaining moisture levels with a gentle moisturizer is very important.
If the skin feels warm or has a burning sensation a cold compress, cooling gel mask or hyaluronic acid serum is recommended.
SPF is mandatory after the treatment. A minimum of SPF 30 is recommended.

Hydration Facial
Pre Care
Anyone that has taken accutane must be off the medication for 6-12 months prior depending on what their doctor recommends.
​
Discontinue the use of any retinol, enzymes or glycolic products at least 48 hours before the treatment.
​
Refrain from getting any professional chemical peels for at least 2 weeks prior.
​
Don’t wax or use any depilatories 48 hours prior.
Discontinue the use of over the counter topical medications or salicylic acid 48 hours before the treatment.
​
Avoid excessive sun exposure as well as artificial tanner 72 hours prior.
​
Wait 1 week after Botox or 2 weeks after filler to get a Hydration Facial (you can have injectables done the same day as long as it is after your facial)
For men you will want to shave about 3-4 hours prior to the treatment.

Post Care
Avoid excessive sun exposure or artificial tanning for at least 72 hours post treatment.
For products you will want to avoid anything with fragrance. Cleanser (24 hours post treatment) should be mild and no stripping, a hyaluronic treatment (either serum, moisturizer or mask) and a lightweight hydrating moisturizer.

SPF must be used to protect the freshly exfoliated skin. Minimum of SPF 30 is recommended.
​
Avoid heat (hot showers, saunas, and intense cardio) for 24 hours after your treatment.
​
Avoid retinol, glycolic acid, enzymes, topical medications, waxing or treading for 48 hours.
​
Refrain from having professional level peels done for at least 2 weeks post Hydration Facial.
​
If you don’t need to apply makeup for the remainder of the day it is encouraged to wait 24 hours.

Post Care
The skin may feel hot and flushed for the first day after the treatment, similar to the feeling of windburn.
​
The skin can appeared flushed or red for anywhere from 2 hours to 2 days post treatment.
For the first 24 hours the skin should not be cleansed unless absolutely necessary but cream can be applied as needed.
​
For products a mild cleanser that will not strip the skin and a gentle moisturizer that is light weight and hydrating should be used in the few days after the treatment. Avoid any products with fragrance or essential oils.
Mineral makeup may be used after the first 24 hrs to reduce the appearance of any redness.
SPF 30 should be applied everyday after the application of other skincare products.
